oil crush washer??

Featured Replies

Anyone find bulk prices somewhere for the 2012 oil plug crush washers...which are suppose to be replaced each time the oil is changed?? THX

2012 have a different size drain plug. Needs to be replaced every oil change. I think the dealer is the only way to get the correct one in that size.

The dealer is the only place that has these washers? I too would like to grab a bunch since I've been using the same one now for a year which I hate since I'm so used to changing them each time I do the oil.

don't skip too many, i've only gone a few hundred thousand miles in like 20 Subaru's without ever changing one, but I'm really lucky and one oil change away from disaster. LOL. not recommending that though, one should be prudent and not skimp on proper maintenance.

I was thinking this as well. I went from 120,000 - 318,000 on my last Subaru and never changed the crush washer once. I change them now on my newer one only because the filters come with one taped to the side of it.
