I remember seeing threads on this but my search turned up little.So here goes,What is the ultimate disty set up. My ride is a 85 Brat 1.8 with 4spd D/R, I've got a accel super coil but thats about it.I've seen the threads about 2wd distys but would like a few inputs on a ideal combination,I think someone said my year brat had the best already but wasn't sure. Thanks all for your input.

what you need to do is get ahold of every year fsm that has the dist advance tables and find one that you like, 85 had more than 10 tables!!!

85 had 10 tables because of the EA82's - which he can't use.

 

You have two choices - Hitachi, and ND. The Hitachi is the more reliable of the two. As far as advance curves - I belive Skip was the one who looked it up and found the 4WD to be the better of the two. I would keep what you have, being that it's the more reliable, and the better curved for off-road.
