Hi Guys,

I'm a newbie to the boards but a regular on others here in OZ.

I own what you call a Legacy RS maybe. We call it a Liberty RS Turbo. Mine is a 93 model, is my every day transport and I circuit race it on weekends.

Yes I know it's a wagon but it serves me well in all my other pursuits. I'm a keen Mountain biker and Snowboarder, but racing is my passion.

Good looking car. It's a Legacy on this side of the earth. Are those 17" or 16" wheels on the black car? How did you lower it?Regards,

Welcome to the board. We've got a few other people here from down under, also. G'day, mate.

They dont call them RS's here Although i wish they would have. They are just known as Legacy Turbo's. The sedans are sometimes reffered to as Sport Sedans.

 

I love those wheels. Thats what im thinking of doing with my Legacy.

Brian, those wheels look like RS wheels, just painted black. There should be a few sets of those around that you could pick up. Look for a 98 or newer RS owner who has recently upgraded to 17 or 18 inch wheels.

Yeah, ive been searching Corky But i cant find any. I'd love to get my hands on a set and have them powdercoated black. I dont really care for the silver or gold.

Hi guys, and thanks for the warm welcome.

 

MY rims are from a 98 model Impreza WRX, they were silver and I had them painted in 2 pack black. They are also 16in in diameter.

 

My car has also been lowered with a set of Kings Springs about 2 inches all round. King Springs are made here locally in Oz and don't cost an arm and a leg but do a great job in getting the car to handle better.
