June 18, 201312 yr *** No discussion or comments, goal is one thread with A/C oring sizes compiled for easy access. I'll edit this thread with any updates as long as I'm allowed. The compressor orings are notorious for degrading faster than the others, they are usually hard/brittle and the rest in the system are still fine. I've never seen the other orings be that way so they're not that important but list them if you do them. June 18, 201312 yr I usually end up taking them to the dealer and matching them. Even the dealer books are not so good.
June 19, 201312 yr 2003 3.0 H6 OBW (stock OEM compressor) top-rear Compressor: 17.8mm x 2.5mm left ('high') side Compressor: 10.8mm x 2.4mm used the blue/green w'ever 'variety pack' o-rings from O'reilly's used some wire to hold the throttle and CC cables 'up-and-back'. i alsopulled the electrical connection and tucked it under out of the way.Used a rag/paper towels to clean up around the areas. I pulled the top-rear fittingand used a toothpick to get the old o-ring off. It was much lessflexible than the replacements and deformed/flattened. The large o-ringmentioned was a good fit. I lubed it with a little oil that was sittinginside the compressor. Then I did the same on the left-side fitting(high side). The o-ring was a little more difficult to remove. It wasalso stiff and deformed/flattened. I think the 10.8mm x 2.4mm is thebest fit here.
