1989 GL Turbo Wagon.

Featured Replies

I have been eyeballing the forum for a little while now. I bought my roo 4 years ago its stock still with 154K sat in a barn for 20 years or so. After i picked it up i stripped the underside of all rust and sprayed it with bar and chain oil. Then drilled the frame and filled it with bar and chain oil. Just put new brake rotors, front struts, timing belt /water pump and radiator in. Looking to do some fun stuff now..any ideas?

High roof! Nice, very jealous! I would lower it, copiously.

Thanks!, and thanks for the idea. Unfortunately I live in Vermont where having a lowered car is not an option due to our rough roads. But I just got a line on a 2" boss lift..I'll keep updating pictures as I go.

Your Wagon looks like the "touring edition" with the bumped up roof too. Nice car, thank you for the pictures and the back-story.

AAw man don't lift it! I live in MN with a lowered CRX, our roads kind of look like the roads from Escape from New York, it works fine.

LIFT it.

and for inspiration heres a pic of my old lifted 87 turbo wag

Lifting it is fun, but damn you dont see many touring wagons! Keep it clean.

Thing is nick I live in central Vermont ski country where the roads are caked with salt in the winter and I do everything I can to keep her clean but no matter how much I try since it is my daily driver it will come to an end at some point....might as well work her hard!

i find rinsing it in a river is a good way to get rid of salt, also mud keeps the salt away, :P
