February 18, 201511 yr I just bought a 1992 Loyale sedan. It was a one owner car with 62,000 miles. Texas rust free car. My surprise is in driving it at highway speeds, 60 -70 mph. it is tacking at 4,000 RPM and above. I need to drive the car to Iowa in two days. That is a 1,000 mile trip. Should I keep it down to 55-60 MPH or are they supposed to roar !
February 18, 201511 yr Welcome! These good ol' EA82 engines are Revving Happy, so don't be afraid to keep the High RPM's ... You gonna Need that, and the Hydraulic Lifters will get better oil Pressure. Don't forget to share Photos of your Subie with us. Kind Regards.
