You're going to need the diagrams and sensors to change it out. I don't have access to the diagrams right now, but maybe someone here will. You might want to rethink putting in the digital dash. They are hard to find and I imagine even harder where you are. They are great though.

I seem to realize that everyone used to want to convert the other way from Digital <--> Analog because the digital clusters failed so often. I have two that I picked up untested and so far one is confirmed dead. Good Luck, I have wanted to do this in at least one of mine too.

I thought it was only the early (pre 85) models that had failing digi dashes?

To fit the digi dash, you're going to need the matching fuel gauge sender, and also the plugs for the back as they are very different from the analog dash.

@wagonist

You are probably right, I had no idea. I was just going on what I have read here. Runs back to the Digi's on my bench :D

Yup.

The dash wiring harness has more connectors proprietary to the digidash cluster & trip computer, etc.

You'd have to kluge two harnesses together to include heater/fan, lights & dimmer, etc to function.

I sure wasn't going to tear apart my only econo car dash just to make up a harness for someone else.  :horse:

Too much like work.....think I'll watch the show. :popcorn:
