March 15, 201511 yr I have a 98 Subaru forester and have no spark to the injectors. The check engine light is blinking what do I need to do to fix both of these problems?
March 15, 201511 yr No spark to the injectors...? I'm assuming the check engine light is on, what are the codes?
March 15, 201511 yr Welcome! The Spark shall be to the Sparkplugs, or Power to the injectors. You must get Readed the OBD II Codes and share them here. Kind Regards.
March 16, 201511 yr The two things work completely differently from each other. Please explain so we can help along with mileage and transmission
March 16, 201511 yr Injectors don't spark. Spark plugs are what make the spark. If you have a blinking check engine light that indicates a steady misfire. This is usually due to worn spark plugs and old spark plug wires. Replacing those is always the first place to start. Use NGK brand for both.
March 17, 201511 yr Is the engine running while the check engine light is blinking or just when you turn the key on? There are test mode connectors under the dash that are not meant to be plugged together in normal operation, and if they are plugged together they make the check engine light flash.
