Jeremy's toybota gave me an idea... Take a old gen fwd/4wd subaru, replace the rear diff with a bearing carrier for the driveshaft, and then affix a propeller to the driveshaft behind the car.. 

 

Just a funny thought, not planning on it anytime soon

Cool idea, make it into a submarine then it would be a SUBaru

A few lads here in New Zealand did just this with an imprezza, removed rear diff, fabricated prop/mount, stripped interior, sealed it as much as they could, made it somewhat boatlike.
