gauge not lit.

Featured Replies

i just noticed the tempurature gauge is not lit up on my 2006 impreza is there suppose to be a light behind the gauge? i can see the fuel gauge  next to it but not the tempurature gauge. how do you change the bulb if it can be replaced?

Remove the gauge cluster from the dash, the lights can be easily accessed from the back of the clister. You just turn them and pull them out. Find the blown one and replace it.

pull the cluster. Couple screws, the fascia pops out, then usually 3 screws hold cluster in. Very easy to change bulbs.. They are T5 and T10 base bulbs. 194s can be used in the T10s and 74s can be used in the T5s. Subaru used some weird T5s that are uncommon for the gauge illumination, but 74s work

Replace all the blulbs and be done with it, you can get them cheap from Amazon
