Mystery buzzing sound

Featured Replies

I have a 93 Loyale wagon 4wd, that has a sporadic morse code like buzzing coming from the right rear qtr panel. It will happen with car off and key out of ignition. I have been out doing work in the garage and it will happen out of nowwhere. Could a relay make a buzzing sound?? Any ideas?? I search my friend Google and found no posts on the issue. Strange....

I should add that my rear window washer pump stopped working, about 1yr ago. There is still water in the tank. Maybe thats it??

Right rear. Fuel pump is over there, just forward of the wheel.

Washer pump is on the left.

Oops. I made error. Buzzing coming from left rear, where washer pump is.

Have you searched within that Area, removing Carpets and Plastics?

Could be a honeycomb built under the fender  :o

I like it!! Too funny... I have tried to pin point it but it only lasts like seconds. It is in the general area where the water tank/pump is.

If your Wagon has them, the control unit for the automatic belts is located on the left side, just behind the wheel well and behind the large trim panel.

Imy wagon does have auto seatbelts. Mmm, did not know that.... I will research the control unit. Thanks

You could try disconnecting the wire to the pump. See if it still happens.
