Transmission only has 1st and 3rd gear setting a code of line pressure selnoid every thing was working fine until the new engine was put in can't find a bad connection but the code was set before engine was put in help please

Did the Torque Converter come out ...even a little bit..when you pulled the engine? If so, are you 100% sure you re-seated it properly?

also, did the trans pan get dented? even a little? easy to mess stuff up on the other side of the pan.

Yea it looked like the pan was pushed up I have taken the pan off haven't found anything have check the wiring it all looked good

The pan pushed up just a little can do it with no other damage- it restricts flow into the intake.

Replaced the pressure line selnoid it fixed the problem thanks a lot guys you have been a great help love this web site
