I just had to replace the MAP sensor on my 2001 OBW, and I popped the new one in this afternoon and unhooked the battery to clear out error codes (is there a fuse to pull that would accomplish that?).

 

Expecting no issues, I started the car and immediately got a CEL, and pulled five different codes - P0328, P1112, P0107, P0113, and P1112 (again?). What could all this be about?

Kinda seems like you have a wire problem. Could be a loose or corroded ground on the intake manifold. There should be a ground point right on top of the manifold by the coil.

 

What if you put the old MAP sensor back on?

The car runs fine with the new MAP sensor in, and stalled out within 2-3 seconds with the old MAP sensor. So I'm pretty confident the old sensor was bad. What would putting the old one in tell me?

with multiple codes first step in my book is to clear them and restart the car immediately and see which ones come back first. 

 

check connectors for the MAP - make sure the pins didn't get dirty or bent and make sure they're fully seated together.

 

swap MAP's and see if the symptoms/codes change.

5000fingers (of Dr. Terwilliger ?) - I have had a bad battery set wierd codes in the past on our 03 . maybe check for a bad cell in the battery?

P0328 is your knock sensor/KS. Check if it's cracked or has wiring issues. On older Subies if the KS was bad it would trigger other codes. Fix the KS and the others would clear after an ECU Reset.

 

There should be a EGI (ECU) fuse under the hood to reset it too....But double-check on that.
