November 5, 20169 yr What's up everyone! I have an 83 subie GL hatchback 2 door, and the first mod I want to do to it is get bigger tires. The cheapest and most effective way is to drill 4 holes to make it fit toyota 6 lug wheels. Any suggestions for wheels/ liftkits? Any help would be great thanks!
November 5, 20169 yr On the wheels I prefer the early Toyota rims, the later ones have too deep dished, they stick out to far This redrill hubs. http://www.sjrlift.com/index.php/catalog/misc/hub-4-to-6-pattern-detail This lift. http://www.sjrlift.com/index.php/catalog/lift-kits/0-4-lift-ea81-detail Edited November 5, 20169 yr by Scott in Bellingham

November 12, 20169 yr You can redrill the 6 lug toyota rims to 4 lug really easy. I did it in my garage it took an hour for all four
November 15, 20169 yr Don't redrill wheels. Its chincy to say the least (Plus you are limited on what wheel you can run, you'll be stuck with Steel wheels for the most part) Do it right and follow the write-up in my signature. As for lift kits, check out Patrick Anderson over at Anderson Design and Fabrication. He will make anything you can think of, and is fair with price. -Tom Edited November 15, 20169 yr by TheLoyale
