Why biz and scion in this group?

Yes. The Scion FRS and Subaru BRZ are twins.

 

History shows Subaru did most of the engineering but Toyota/scion took equal credit. Nifty cars. Sad they aren't AWD.

BRZ, FRS, and GT86 are all the same car, just with different badges and slight tweaks. The car was a joint project between toyota and subaru. In the us, toyota sold theirs under the scion badge.

Same car just different badges.  And I agree with the Subaru not being AWD :(

They could of offered  AWD as an option as they did with their models till 94 (93 for Impreza) But the idea behind this car was to be a RWD N/A corner machine. For SUBARU it worked out, but I think the FT86 was a sad attempt to bring back the AE86 Corrola (Hachiroku) drift machine that Toyota was so strongly trying to reinvision.
