90 Legacy climate control.

Anyone know if the AC panel from a 91-94 Legacy will work in my 90 Legacy?   Mine bought the farm. It's not soda pop gumming up the buttons either. :(

Open it up and resolder the board connections for the harness connector. It's easy.

Yes that's gotta be it. I noticed if I slanted it a little when lifting it out (before unplugging the pigtail with key on) all the buttons and fan switch kicked back on and off and on again. Thanks.

And FWIW, I believe ONLY the '90-'91 are interchangeable......'92-'94 are different enough to not work (plug wiring, etc) although they look/function the same from the driver's seat.

There's one on eBay for sale but I'm hesitant to purchase it. (91-94)

Yep. I've only fixed a few dozen of them ;o)

I checked it today and all the solder points appear good. I'm starting to wonder if it's just a problem with the connector? Yes I may go bonkers soon. ha ha.

You may have to look at them with high power magnification to see the cracks. Just remelt them and try it.

I pulled one from a 91 Legacy wagon and yes indeed the connector was different. Went to pic n pull and got one from a 89-90 wagon and all is well.
