May 31, 20178 yr I'm sure this has been debated to no end but, I have to buy some here really soon. I know what to put on a phase 2 engine but I don't think they make gaskets for a phase 1 engine
May 31, 20178 yr What year? On phase I 25D engines you install 00 to 05 pistons and then use the 770 part number gasket. This will ensure a lasting repair. GD Edited May 31, 20178 yr by GeneralDisorder
May 31, 20178 yr Author Phase 1 ej22 93 car but the engine I am picking up I'm told is out of a 96 but I'm going to put the 93 heads on it Edited May 31, 20178 yr by Evil02outback
May 31, 20178 yr Just get the OEM gaskets. The 22's never had problems like the 25's. Both those engines are phase I. The 96 heads are better. Roller rockers. GD Edited May 31, 20178 yr by GeneralDisorder

June 1, 20178 yr 96 could be EJ25 or EJ22 engine. if you're in a big rush then first step is to know what engine you're talking about and/or communicate more clearly.
