Serpentine belt?

Bumping this thread,

I'm having issue selecting new v belts. Subaru doesn't offer any oem ones anymore so the ones I'm looking at through AutoZone and such are only listed as single v belts, but I know that the ea82 has the two v belts, one tensioned by the alternator and other by the tensioner pulley. What should I be looking for for the second belt? Would it be a.c. belt and drive belt? Thanks

Alternator belt, drive belt, Power steering belt, water pump...

Use rockauto.com or Subaru part numbers and search for those with google. Rock auto has gobs of belts listed.

Im not sure how many different belts exist but there are a few EA82 configurations over the years. V belt, serpentine belt, factory AC, dealer installed AC.....

If you don't have a n old belt,  take a piece of 3/8 rope, wrap it around the belt path, mark it.  Bring it to a parts store, and match it up.  It might take a try or 2 the first time. One of my EA82s had different belts than the others.  The adjuster on one didn't have a lot of range, so one belt barely fit, and the next longer wouldn't get enough tension.

Part #17390 is for the water pump, power steering, and A/C (this would be the back belt looking at the engine). Part #17385 is for all the above and the alternator (this is the front belt looking at the engine). Those are AutoZone part #s. Hope that helps.
