I got the impression that the US did not get the mpfi version of the EA82 other than turbo.

 

Then I read recently in here? of someone with NA EA82 mpfi.

 

Either way, was wondering if anyone pilfered the twin port heads and manifold to convert a carb block to NA mpfi ?

Subaru XT's got the MPFI NA EA82's. 

The na mpfi ea82 was also in some of the gl-10 models.

It was used on 85 GL-10's but I've only seen 2WD versions. I don't believe they made it in 4WD.

yup, 85 2wd, GL-10 non-turbo used MPFI

 

85 4wd, GL-10 Non-turbo were Carbed!!

Of course, how did I forget the XT! They were all efi of some sort!!
