December 21, 20178 yr Anyone have a clue where I can find a Air Bag Clockspring I have checked about everywhere I can think of checking...... Thanks.
January 2, 20188 yr Author seems like the airbag is no longer any good, the clock spring as well.... so I am just going to have to go the cheap way cause we live on a budget here with disability, so I have already removed the airbag and threw it away, and the clockspring cause it was broke, we tried to get the airbag to go off but it would not go off at all..... Anyways I am just going to put a regular steering wheel on my 1993 subaru legacy sedan awd 2.2 engine... BUT what I really NEED to know is.. HOW in the world can you get the Airbag light to go off in the column... Here is what I have done so far... air bag and module in steering wheel Gone.... Clockspring Gone..... what connected them is now unconnected.... cause those wires came out with the clock spring. it has two fuses, one you have to leave in case it also controls the car starting.... removed the other fuse for the srs airbag but airbag light still on .... tried resetting like I seen on youtube a video of how to reset the airbag light to go off... That did not work.... I removed three small bulbs out of the column on the dash but airbag light was still coming on..lol Anyone know what wire , relay .. what ever will turn that airbag light off it just irritates me...thanks
January 2, 20188 yr Just get a working airbag they’re dirt cheap. Www.car-part.com or post in parts wanted forum here. Otherwise remove bulb in cluster or disconnect the airbag controller.
January 3, 20188 yr seen people break the bulb ....I hade a look at this 95 Lib I am playing with, either never had it or its been destroyed, no horn button
January 3, 20188 yr 3 ohm resistor across the two wires that go to the airbag. If there are three wires, one of them is a ground and can be ignored. The other two can be jumped with the 3ohm resistor.
