January 1, 20188 yr Impreza is smaller, you want a Legacy hood. Factory would be a B4, but I don't know if they were sold in the US. I think the GT came a little later with the next gen body shape.
January 1, 20188 yr Baja Turbo would be tough to find at a JY too! Can probably still get from dealers, p/n 57220AE01A. Baja Turbo is steel. B4 is alloy.

Definitely defer to someone who has actually put said part on a car and it fits over car-part though.
