Is there a source for any new or used parts for an old Hitachi DCP306-24? Rebuilding the carb on my 86 BRAT and broke the wire off of the solenoid , duh. If I can not replace it, can it be bypassed or otherwise overcome? Thanks much. 

Also, I have a Nearly Complete 1985 EA81 short block to unload cheap or free, in Colorado, USA. No Distributor Drive Gear

Remove the pin.

You lose the anti diesel function,but,the carb will work.

Or try soldering the broken wire back onto the solenoid...

or tiny screw screwed into the wire that has broken off, then solder new wire to it, encase in epoxy glue is what i plan to do to one of mine gone same way
