July 18, 20196 yr Anyone have EA82 tensioner pulley from a parts car? My bearing seized up yesterday and the parts people are scratching their heads. https://www.dropbox.com/s/71oknlxoezvv1sl/img_3573.jpg?dl=0
July 18, 20196 yr can the bearing be pressed from the pulley? any numbers on the bearing like 6203-rs or similar?
July 18, 20196 yr Author Success! Mounting shaft came out after a couple taps, then snap ring came out, then tapped the bearing out. No markings, but it measures 15mm ID, 35mm OD, 11mm thick. Bet the parts store has one.
July 19, 20196 yr IT is a standard 62xx bearing. I've replaced a few of them. The ones with contact seals last a lot longer, but you have to go to a bearing supply shop, or search ebay / amazon for specifically that type of seal. Forget shielded. un specific seals are ok, but won't be as good / last as long. Edited July 19, 20196 yr by DaveT
July 19, 20196 yr https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CUNNLBY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I replaced mine a couple of months ago. It still works but now it makes some weird noise. You may want to buy a better brand. Good luck, sam

I think the Japanese and European bearings I saw there were in the 5$-$12 range. - each NAPA has bearings, I THINK I got one there and it was a Koyo (different size) Amazon I think has some Nachi, SKF, NTN ,Timken, Koyo ,and others, not sure on sizes available..... July 19, 20196 yr Author Success! Carquest had a $20 bearing that fits. New belts and she's good to go. Also got my Pioneer stereo installed with new speakers in the front doors. I am super happy.
