Can the newer style knuckles with the bolt on bearings be swapped with the ones with the pressed in bearing? I have a 96 impreza and I found a set of front knuckles off a 05 legacy cheap and thought it might be a nice upgrade if they fit. 

I did a search on it and can't find anything on it. Thanks 

Yes will fit but ABS is different.  96 would be tone ring on the hub, 05 is tone ring on the axles.

If your Impreza has ABS it will not be compatible.

Ya it doesn't have abs so I'll just take the sensor off. Thanks for the info.
