July 6, 20205 yr Hello all, Despite searching the web and this site I cannot find the part numbers for the 4x mounting blocks/bushes that mount the rear axle beam (Not the moustache bar) to the body on a late Brat. They don’t seem to be on any drawing I’ve seen. I’d like to replace mine as they are not looking great. Hopefully some of you knowledgable guys on here can help! Thanks.
July 7, 20205 yr I think they are the same as the "A" arm bushing on the front. Seems I read that somewhere.
July 7, 20205 yr Yes I just posted the GEN ONE brat pages from the parts manual. They are the same and called stoppers. That is if I read your post correctly. Edited July 7, 20205 yr by moosens
July 7, 20205 yr Author Thanks guys, but as I mentioned it’s not the moustache bar bushes I’m looking for. It’s the mounting bushes for the main beam itself, the one that the torsion bars are inside, where it mounts to the body. Oddly, they don’t seem to be in any drawing I’ve seen.
July 7, 20205 yr Maybe take a picture and post it. I am sure there is something out there that can be fitted to it.
July 7, 20205 yr Pardon my lack of rotation on those. Can’t see how but anyways those are form a Brat-MPV supplement for factory parts manuals. Let me know if I failed and I’ll see what else there is for you.
July 7, 20205 yr On the rotation Moosens, I only just figured this out recently and think you did a direct photo ? I think if I do it with my tablet, I need to take photo first, then fumble through touch random spots on screen for edit functions, guessing what some icons are Once correctly oriented then load it Took me a while to work out I had an icon looked like traditional camera and it rotated as I jiggled device nobody tells us this !! My first glance at diagram looked like the bush is #11 but #11 is a bolt..... Could you make a temporary bush out of rubber hose? Edited July 7, 20205 yr by Step-a-toe
July 7, 20205 yr Author That’s great, it’s gen 2 part numbers I’m looking for. Now, the hunt is on to see if I can find any. Moosens, thanks very much for your time, it’s much appreciated.
