Sealed Beam In 86 Wagon?

Featured Replies

Hey People:

Can anyone tell me if I can fit an inexpensive Sealed Beam unit into my 86 Wagon? It has the Dual not the Quad headlights. These are available for $13-15.00 whereas a Headlight lense is $30.00 Used and like $100.00 New!!!

Thanks,

Gareth

I've never seen a composite lamp in a sealed version for any price let alone $13 to $15. If you find them, let us know. Also, new composite lamps from the dealer are around $175. Wrecking yard price $25 to $60 depending on where you go.

The only sealed beams for an 86 wagon are for the quad setup that came with the DL models

Watch eBay for the stock Gl/Loyal (composite?) headlights, I picked up a left side for $7.50, and a right side for $5.00 (plus shipping of course). The right side unit was brand new!!!

Good luck,

Chris
