July 29, 200421 yr rear main seal front crank seal valve cover gaskets oil pan gasket wouldn't touch the intake gaskets if your not doing any work there.... check PCV valve and EGR
July 29, 200421 yr I would advise you to change out anything made of rubber or cork. Hoses, belts, valve cover gaskets, front and rear main seals, oil pan gasket, clutch, every filter you can lay your hands on... You get the idea.
July 29, 200421 yr scrape away any crud on the crossmember and clean out the engine compartment really good
July 30, 200421 yr Author I "steam cleaned" all grease on the engine and engine bay, and hot water flushed the cooling system I think it's time to replace the oil pump seals, as there was a line of oil on the oil filter changed the water pump, spark plugs, and valve cover gaskets, and adjusted valves when it was in I have the cleanest truck in my area driveshaft and transmission comes out friday, and rebuild the engine and transmission mounts this weekend
