I thought the same thing, but it wasn't too short....

 

the ea82 clutch cable has a different mount for the pedal box... just use the Brat one....

The problem is aftermarket versus factory I believe. I have seen them appear too long and too short as well. You may be able to get some adjustment by moving the mounting bracket a little bit.
