ea82t owners - post your mileage

262,000 miles on my 1989 GL XT. Still runs strong. Gas mileage probably not so good as I usually have the pedal to the metal plus I never get out of second gear going round & round a 1/4 mile dirt track. Installing EA82T this Winter for next race season as more HP's are needed to beat those Mustangs running 2.5's:D

134,7XX on my '90 Loyale EA82T, probably about 25 mpg.

  • 1 year later...

111,000K on my 86 GL-10 turbo wagon. Gets between 19-25 depending on how heavy the foot is.

192,000 on '87 GL wagon. Five speed, no A/C, 185 80 R13 tires. I've clocked it between mile markers over and over and have come up with about a 10% speedometer discrepancy. I'm assuming this translates to the odometer as well.

So with that, I've been getting 25-26 mpg. Add 10% and that brings it to 27-28 mpg.

I'm using 85 octane fuel, I live about a mile above sea level and I drive mostly highway at around 60-65 mph.

I am planning on replaceing rear diff gear lube and transmission oil with Amsoil synthetic gear lube. It should help.

almost 300k on the RX, 10k on a JDM engine (so roughly 40-50k miles on the engine). Never gotten above 24mpg, average about 20-21......but I drive it hard.

110XXX on the engine and chasis in the RX hatch, 26-28 mpgs per tank. a little bit of highway, but mostly city driving.

Well I posted on this before, a year ago, and It looks like I've added another 19,000 miles, and that is with Driving my legacy too. Dang

I just bought a 90 legacy L wagon w/250k and seems to run strong.

No real smell of gas in the oil cap.

190k and some change on my 87 turbowagon, no clue how many are on the motor though (it's cool though cuz the serial # on the engine is all ones except for the last # is 5), adn I average about 18 up here, but I get 22-24 back home, roughly 25-26 highway back home, here I get about 23 on the highway.

Stupid altitude...

I also posted on this quite a long time ago, i think i posted that i had some where in the 90k mile range... the speedo quite working for a good six months, but i still managed to get up to 108k miles...

about 145k. before o blew the hgs i got some were around 25 depending on how much me foot weights at the time and what kind of riced out pos is next to me
