September 30, 200421 yr How do I determine whether a 93 Legacy L wagon is front or all wheel drive? If a stick, drop the clutch at 5k and listen. An auto run motor to 5k in N then drop into drive. Just kidding of course, look at rear axle.

September 30, 200421 yr Do "look" for the rear differential and half shafts. A tailgate could have been changed. Did these years have the emblem on the side windows as well? You shouldn't have to get dirty. Just look in under the rear bumper. Commuter
