October 4, 200421 yr Hi Patrick, I've got a weird question of the day for you. Can I get the front half of a 4/3 EA82 lift from you???? This will be for Vickys wagon it has a 3/3 lift now, but I swaped out the adjustable strutts and now it is very close in the front. I don't want to go back to the adjustables either cause they really crank on the alignement. Thanks, Tim PS are you still collecting steering links??? I saved the one from the last car I parted with you in mind. Send me an addy and I'll put it in the mail. Later, tim
October 4, 200421 yr Tim if PK does this for you I'd be interested in the remaining 3" stuff. That is if you want to get rid of it.
October 4, 200421 yr Author I don't see why we couldn't work something out. Unless PK wants it back or something like that. Later, tim
October 4, 200421 yr I can probably get a few steering shafts if needed for cores or something, and a quick question are EA82 adjustable struts longer than EA81, can these be used in an addition to the lift?
October 4, 200421 yr I don't think so. And more strut length makes for bad camber. As in \ / will be the view of your tires from the front.
October 5, 200421 yr Author Yep, thats why I pulled the adjustables out. I've got new tyres on it and I don't want to wear out the sides again.
October 5, 200421 yr Yep, thats why I pulled the adjustables out. I've got new tyres on it and I don't want to wear out the sides again. I thought (and according to the site) that the only 4"/3" lift available was for the ea81 bodies....

That would be cancelled out by putting more spacers in between the body and the existing lift in front, or slotting the strut tower to move the tops closer inside the body. Bill
October 5, 200421 yr Author I still have the old ones, I'll measure them later and let you know what I come up with. Tim
October 5, 200421 yr cool, I wont need them I just want to know if there longer, my mind is always ticking with ideas.

Bill We tried the spacers with Ken's brat. Can't remember just why, but he complained about the set-up. I bought his used kit (4/3) and chose not to add the spacers. Slotting the strut towers is an option. Note that the more you push the front wheels down, the more your axles are gonna be hyperextended. A 4/3 is a decent and very useable lift. Ken's 10 inch lift and 31 inch swampers and transfer case and solid rear axle have yet to go where my plain old PK lifted hatch cannot. ('xcept for his trailer, mine's still very streetable)
October 8, 200421 yr Author Anyone heard from PK lately??? I know he travels a bit too. So just count this as a bump
