stansgl
I was noticing all the threads revolving around carbs and computers and I happen remember my last sub.. it was an "84 Wagon 5spd and the computer was gone.. nothing but the plug and the holes where it bolted but the car still run great. HOW is that possible????
subiemech85
because the computer controlled the fuel mixture, nothing more
NorthWet
because the computer controlled the fuel mixture, nothing more More specifically, the computer controls "leaning out" the fuel mixture for emissions. Fail-safe...
stansgl
Oh... ok... Before I fell for subs and played with nissans and if u pulled the computer out of those it wouldn't run at all... but they where fuel injected cars where this one was carbed so not as much to operate. Makes since now, thanks!
