fire extenguisher mount?

Featured Replies

every good off-road vehicle has a fire ext. on board. i am wondering where to mount it in my loyale. everything inside is covered in plastic. where do you guys mount yours? will the plastic hold up?

I've seen people mount them on the passenger side console area, near the shifter and stuff, I think it'll end up getting in the way if you have passengers and stuff, but you could mount it really anywhere, I'd suggest back by the wheel wells.

wouldn't this be a modification forum deal? i know its offroad...buts modifying too... :)

back to the "lost and confused" forum with me :)

why not along the front of the pass side seat or even the drivers seat if it's small enough so you can grab it quickly in an emergency

I put mine on the drive shaft tunnel. So I can quickly reach right back behind my e-brake and BAM I got a fire extinguisher. Anyone who plans on going to an ORV park or attending any offroad events must have one, it must be secured and easily obtainable for tech inspection.

On the roll bar, every good 4wheeler should have one of those too!!!!

The guys at my local Exahust Pros did it for me. Those guys are awesome  . Tim

most events around here state the fire extinguisher needs to be within reach of the seated driver.

mine is next to the console on the pass side...
