December 6, 200421 yr I can't decide what direction to go with my 84 GL. Keep it relitive stock for rallycross or lift it?
December 6, 200421 yr I can't decide what direction to go with my 84 GL. Keep it relitive stock for rallycross or lift it? Fun either way! I have refrained from lifting mine, as i like the way it corners in the gravel too much, and i find it has enough ground clearance to get through most tracks i come across.
December 6, 200421 yr lifting it doesnt make it roll out in corners :-P I have cornerd my lifeted monsterwagon without its sway bars in, and it still hasnt left the ground!!! (it fishtails though!)
December 6, 200421 yr After the last rollover ORG WILL NOT allow a lifted rig to run. It's simply a matter of preference. What do you do more of, Rallying or 4Xing?
December 6, 200421 yr With the new tranny in the Legacy you should be able to rally-x that. Leaving the GL for a lift kit, etc.
December 6, 200421 yr Wait until after the ORG meeting this coming Wednesday (discussion of rule changes) because you might have the opportunity to run in a new Truck/SUV class with your wagon which would allow modifications not available in Production. In no event would I lift the car if you plan to rallycross it. I can't decide what direction to go with my 84 GL. Keep it relitive stock for rallycross or lift it?
