Well, I'll concede that it looks better in these pictures than it did in the pre-release spy pics.

 

But, I STILL don't like it. I like the concept, but not the looks.

That is the stupidest thing Subaru has ever done. Ugly, heavy (4200lbs), ugly, underpowered (250hp, 217lbft), ugly, not an SUV (Lack of ground clearance), ugly, no manual offered and finally, FUGLY! What the hell were they thinking? If this is the wave of the futrue for subaru, I might be looking tword a manufacturer who takes their cars seriously.

Hopefully she was talking about the car.

How many times do we have to go through this? If you don't like it, fine, we get it. But there are some who actually do like it and it fits their needs. I, for one, merely wish I could afford it as it would fit most of our needs. The only thing it doesn't have for me, ground clearance. But then the only vehicle that would work would be the Toyota Landcruiser... and if I can't afford the B9, I certainly can't afford the Landcruiser!

I got to see it last weekend at the Reno Auto show. It's not that bad in person.... from the side... the front and rear end scares me. But hey, I did not like the Forester's style when it was introduced... but it grew on me big time. I'll give it a chance.
