Hi, determinded to get this beast going - almost there but there are now one or two parts that I am not sure about and dont want to fire her up until I know everything I can do is done.

Can anyone tell me what this part is and what it does -what would be the result of it being faulty etc,

thanks a million

yehhhhh did it. one small step for.....

ok anyway, anyone know what that part is?

That is the boost (pressure) light switch.

It closes at about .5 psi positive pressure.

It should be connected to

the intake manifold.

Hope this helps

thanks -good to know!

what about if it's faulty? can the car run without it -properly, if the tubes are blocked off?

mine ran fine without it, the only thing that didnt work cause of it not being hooked up was the boost light.

100% correct.

does not affect driveability of the car....but I like to have it working and hooked up properly.
