June 16, 200520 yr I think it looks pretty good.it could go a wee bit higher tho 1/2 inch should be perfect:D
June 16, 200520 yr i didnt read the whole post but the pug rims sit out further than stock subie ones, that would be the real problem, take a piece of metal that is round like the fender and literally pull the fenders out, 1/2 " will do the trick
June 16, 200520 yr It's too low, no doubt but it does look good. I didn't realize some Pugs could make it look like that.
June 21, 200520 yr Author Well, i went to the yard and picked up a set of those rims. I have some 185/75R13's to have mounted to them. That should solve the rubbing for now. Miles, my fender is already fuct The RX in the JY was mashed up anyway. Will standard GL fenders still fit? -Brian
June 21, 200520 yr YO that lookie sweet man! I do have a question tho.....If you stay with the stock alloys, will they still rub? Again, like RX Dave
June 22, 200520 yr I think i'll take off the 15" alloys and put these on: Maybe powdercoated white to match the RX. -Brian Nice looking car! I would drop the back end a little more. I think it really helps the handling. I have the same 13 inch alloys and just so you know they give you a wider wheel base by about and inch on each side. My wheels are dead even with the outside of the wheel well.
June 22, 200520 yr Author I mounted the rims today and they dont seem to stick out as far as my 15" rims did. Also, im running 185/70 as opposed to the 195/50's i used to run. I will drop the rear end when i find new rear springs. Now that I have these front struts in, i have KYB GR2's on all 4 corners. The rear might stick up high but its real stiff back there and I like that -Brian
