1986 GL wagon front springs.....

Featured Replies

After some searching i found the front accord springs conversion, from a 86-88 accord. however, i came across the fact that RX front springs will fit and have a little better spring rate and are the same size, is this for sure true or someones vague advice? found accord front springs for like $60 shipped which is an awesome deal, plus they are new springs and not used. any help fellas?

The front accord springs mount on the rear of our Subies. That'll give you a taller ride height and a stiffer ride when empty.

I think the RX front springs are the stiffest of the bunch.

thx man, i just hope the RX springs are the same height, im going to cut down the accrod springs to go back to stock height. well maybe a custom 1/2'' lift is in order....:brow:

I believe all ea81/ea82 springs are the same height unloaded. Just the spring rates are different. I have a set of RX springs on ea81 struts in my 82 Brat. it lifted my front end 1-1.25".... of course, that was a lighter front end, so it may not lift yours as much.....
