another coil gone bad,

took a small vacation , 160 mile 1 way , on the way back we stopped at a rest area ,the acell coil went bad , the car would not start up and the coil was real hot , good thing i took a oem factory one along , 10 min job and back on the road , thanks to all the members that said take a extra one along , because where would i have gotton on at ,the coil only had 21,000mi on it

Ummm, that was the Accel coil off the '84 Auto BRAT you got from me, yes?!?

no tom it was not , i have all ACCELL coil's on my subaru's , , so just a warning they will go bad , here is a question , by putting the oem coil back on will i have to regap the plugs ? right now there at .45 ? car seems to run just fine
