moosens
Is there a double V or even a triple V pulley for the EA81 water pump? I have an EA81 automatic with the A/C belt rubbing on the head of the bell shaped pulley on the water pump.Mick mentioned a tensioner pulley but I can't think of where it goes.I have the funky bracketry where you have to tension the A/C unit first, then the alternator on a shared bracket. Thanks for any help.
Turbone
The tensioner pulley should be top center. I looked at my 82 FSM and it doesnt show a 2 groove pulley on the WP. There should be a idler pulley down to the right of the WP. The FSM actually sucks for this because its all broken up in different chapters :-\
ShawnW
Is there a double V or even a triple V pulley for the EA81 water pump? The turbo is the only one that has a 2 belt pulley on the WP. Is the crank pulley 2 groove or 3? Theres some that have a middle groove thats deeper that is rarely used, I believe those are the cars that have the "this car is equipped for addition of optional AC" badge on the heater controls. Those cars sometimes have a funky tensioner that flips down below the Alternator.
