95 Impreza fog light problem

Featured Replies

Wanted to buy right side fog light or lens for 95 Subaru Impreza 2 Dr coupe. The problem is I can't find one out here. In West Virginia they will not give a safety sticker to drive your car if everything is not perfect .( Unless you know someone at the repair shop. ) The right side lens is cracked and missing some glass. So its either remove them or put a different set in. Not what I want to do. Any of you guys out there have a lens or light please contact me. The light is not the round one like on the newer Subarus and I do'nt know if 93 and 94 were the same, but my sticker runs out in a few days, so try and dig one up if you can and let me know. Thanks wrongturninswv@wmconnect.com

I have a chipped lens on our MY95 Legacy and can't find a used replacement anywhere. You could consider unbolting the whole assembly and remove both of them for inspection. A pain to have to put back on later, but if they aren't on at inspection they can't fail you.

The fog lights were an option on the car. They should not be part of a safety inspection. But if you had one on and one off, that might not be acceptable. I'd remove both till after inspection.

Did you get your grill?

Not yet on the grill , is has an old one on that came with car but not the one that comes with it. And yes I looked on ebay for fog lights, no luck on that. May just take them off to get sticker

The only real option with factory lights, besides junkyard, is to buy a complete fog lamp kit.
