Kelly Tires?

Featured Replies

Anyone ever heard of Kelly Springfield Tires? I've been searching my area and there are no passenger car dealers of Nokians in my area. I called up the dealers that Nokian lists for my area and they are pushing the Kelley Snow Tracker. Anyone out there with experience with this winter tire?

Thanks!

.

Kelly tires are made by Good Year. They're ok but no the greatest. if you were looking into a Good Year product i'd go with the Ultra Grip or Ultra Grip Ice.

or a dunlop snow. GY makes dunlop too.

i;d get either a GY or Dunlop before a kelly

I bought a set of Kellys last year from Sam's Club, since they were half the price of Nokians, for my old Saab I only use to get to work. I got them studded, used them last winter in Vermont, and they performed well. Wear looks ok for the first year, handling was ok - but I don't really push it. They did get to run in snow.

Nokians are still the best, and that's what's on my wife's car (studded Hakk 1s)

But these are an inexpensive alternative.

YMMV.

I had Kelly Safari's on my old Blazer. Wore pretty well and good snow traction.

I think Kelly tires used to be made in Tyler Tx. I dont know if they still are or not.

Had a set of Kelly Safari's on my 88 Dodge Dakota, nice tire...

Had them mounted on a set of Crager Rims...

Nice tires, ok truck... had a 4 banger in it...
