October 11, 200520 yr Can't you just look on the Y-pipe? According to my 86 FSM, the VIN doesn't tell you if it's a CA or 49-state model, which would be the indicator of having an oxygen sensor or not, assuming that your car is carbureted.
October 11, 200520 yr Pretty sure a knowledgable parts rep at a dealership could use your VIN to fingure out if you had a feed back carb, nonfeedback carb, or EFI. Then again you could figure it all out yourself too
