According to my 86 FSM, the VIN doesn't tell you if it's a CA or 49-state model, which would be the indicator of having an oxygen sensor or not, assuming that your car is carbureted. MorganM Posted October 11, 2005 Share Posted October 11, 2005 Pretty sure a knowledgable parts rep at a dealership could use your VIN to fingure out if you had a feed back carb, nonfeedback carb, or EFI.
