that's cool, but 6 grand seems a bit steep. it would be really neat cruising in a subie hummer

a wombaru haha i think its pretty neat, under those wide fenders, it almost looks like a jeep :( haha

not to be a downer, but im seeing the same problem that i'm running into with my bug, not enough room between the front axel and the nose of the body. it would be alot easier to take care of that with all that ground clearance though, i don't have that ah.... luxury?

looks like fun though:grin:

it think sweet82`s subuggy is pretty cool.pop-rivet some metal onto it, and it would look like those hummers.

the company that makes sweet82's buggy (rhino buggies) makes a Humbug... which is designed for the suby drivetrain... and looks like a hummer...:)

although those are pretty sweet... i want one of each...:drunk:

if your good with the mig welder you could do it in steel , take the stock soobie , remove body peices unwanted, weld up a light framework, say 1x1 tubing and weld or pop rivit panels on it 9463Steve_on_the_Beach.jpg

heres a soobie I found on a ausssie site

The Wombat is cool but $6,000 +

Too much for my wallet.

If I'm spending 6k I'd be gettin something more capable.

I'm into Summer $1,500 in this pic.

and I think I like it better than the Green Humbug.

I stretched the "Bandit" plans to make it a 4 seater like the Humbug.

It would have cost big $ to purchase and ship the Humbug fiberglass front from down under.
