Countdown to drivability

Featured Replies

Im less than a week away from driving my 83 Turbowagon if all goes well. This is assuming some lift kit parts are fabricated in time so its not all in my control. Project began a day after WCSS3.

Remaining:

Brake bleed/fix-currently NO pedal response.

Stainless steel brake lines

steering column bearings for ign switch

Pour gas in, set timing, make it start

Sweet, wish mine was that close! Gotta split my block again and find out whats wrong with a rod bearing! :banghead:

I wish mine was that close. How long have you been working on it Shawn? I've been at it for close to a year since I put the RX under the knife. Hopefully I'll get the last of the intake parts and see if I can't get her to start as well. I hate waiting for stuff, bugs the crap outta me...

Maybe you should shoot a small vid of it firing to life!

I just seen the part about it going under right after WCSS3... wow what a long time...

Very cool to hear.I would love to see it.I really like older turbo subarus.Any chance you might use a rear mustache bar for a front bumper?Just kidding. What lift parts are you waiting on?

I can always count on you guys to put the poker in the fire and sear me a little. :)

Oh, and I haven't even responded yet!
