The RX update for Nov 2005...lol

Featured Replies

Time for more pics!

Its back to stock springs/struts...from a 2WD sedan. I like the 1" more height in the rear from the 2WD rear stuff.

I liked those alloy wheels you'd painted white. And your switching picture angles of the car made me dizzy :skunkdrunk:

what's that graphic toward the fronts of the doors, a rally course?

  • Author

Those alloys will make a return....

The graphic was originally the "Spec C Type RA, Keep Attacking the Nurburgring" decal....but, its not a spec c or type R (cut off the A since RA is sedan, R is coupe/2 door)...i took that off and just left "the Nurburging" part and the track there.

The Nordschleife (the bigger section, the odl section nolonger used by the FIA) is the ULTIMATE track.

The little section off in the lower left side is the new Nurburgring...sometimes a part of the Nordschleife...but most of the time not.

car looks awesome. but something has to be done with that front bumper.

how dose the megasquit run? what ver. is it? MS-I or MS-II?

the car looks awesome

cool to see the progress you`ve made. the bumper would look better if you paint the side moldings, and top of the rear bumper black also, i think it would improve it even further.

Hey, it looks like it has made a complete rebirth from a totaled wreck to a viable racer. Nice Job!

PS, where did that 3-door grill end up? Was it on JWX's car?

  • Author

thanks

yeah, i gave it to JWX. its...on...soemthing that he has. lol

ooooooooh... painty... it would look even nicer if that damn evo wasnt in the pics!

Now more better!

holy crap! let me know how you like that megasquirt! i work with the guy who created and sells the megasquirt, Al Grippo. I'm sure he'd like to hear of his product going to good use.

definitely keep me up to date though, because once i finish my degree i plan on getting an RX and i want to use the megasquirt to tune it after i mod it.

damn thats nice, did the wheels come standard with the rx??? they are exactly the same as what originally came out on the first 2wd vortex (XT)

apparently very aerodynamic lol

So that is what my car would look like without front end rust..

The lancia strattos is a sweet car, but I don't think the italian colors would be fitting on an RX:)

thanks

yeah, i gave it to JWX. its...on...soemthing that he has. lol

which grill?

  • Author

the silver one.

the MS works good....just not as good as I need it to right now...we are still fine tuning it.

those are teh stock 'wheels' that came on it...all RX's had steelies with those covers.

Update:

I finally aquired a laptop...will be here soon...that same day he MS tuning software will go on and I will start fine tuning myself.

On another note...I now have a TD04L-13G and a Stromung downpipe.....along with some 550ccc injectors and an EBCS (electronic boost control solenoid).

Fun fun to come.
