November 9, 200520 yr found cheap used webers...... was a friends junk yard. lots of chevettes had holleys on them, they look like a weber, and bolt up the same, and when you take them apart they say weber , have weber jets in them also. should be a good cheap carb, with only a few mods would work on roos i think.
November 9, 200520 yr Great.... I just ordered a Weber conversion kit for right at 4 c-bills... Should be in today.. I would be interested in seeing the pics of the holly though..
November 9, 200520 yr Author I would be interested.Can you get any pics of them? i have one apart right now, will take a pic of it, not trying to sell them, just saying they would be an easy find, probably $50 or less and the weber adaptor fits it or at least my datsun 620 to weber adaptor does...i will try to take pics tonight.
November 9, 200520 yr Now that you mention it.... My 74 Vega had a carb on it that looked a lot like my 32/36. I wonder if it was a Weber wearing a different badge.
November 9, 200520 yr Holley had a license to manufacture the "holley-weber" carb from weber; this is probably it.
November 9, 200520 yr I have heard of the holly weber and the word from some old school mechanics is they are not real good carbs. Would still like to see some pics though!
