December 13, 200520 yr So, I finally decided... I want to lift it. It'll be a while before I can afford to give it it's complete make over, but in the meantime, it'd be cool to lift it and throw some super swampers on it or something. It's also getting a massive rollbar with 6 offroad lamps on it. What do you guys thing? I was thinking about going with a PK 3/4" lift, and get some 14" steel pugs and throw some 27" BFG's or super swampers on it.

I think you have some pretty cool plans for it. Looks pretty straight from here. Warning the following is my opinion:I would paint it first. I believe it would make a bigger impact than a lift. But that's just my two cents. Anyone else?

You already have the beautiful Peugeot alloys I love. I would paint it (original color) and add the roll bar and an A-bar. It will look fabulous. Then lift it. r/ PK.
December 14, 200520 yr isnt painting your car, and lifting it kinda contradictory? cause if you offroad it with a new paint job you've wasted a few hundred bucks cause you'll scratch it to crap in no time.... take it to a bedliner shop and have them spray the entire exterior and underbody w/ some rhino...
December 14, 200520 yr If it get it gets lifted and/or painted, it would be fine. It would probably never see any serious off-roading anyways

Well gee, I don't know, does this look familiar? Subasan: 1981 ea81 gl wagon, 4spd d/rComing soon: 4" lift, 29" tires, custom bumpers, roof rack and tire carrier, paint job...
December 14, 200520 yr Author I figured, it's got some damage, it's hard to see it in the picture, but the front end underneath the grill and bumper is pretty badily bent out of shape. I figure I can lift it, have some fun in some "mild" trails... (I don't want to break the car mechanically) And I'm sure I'll ding it and dent it hear and there doing so... and then I can take care of the paint at a later date, having the body and paint job done is far more expencive than lifting it seems right now This is still, of course, after I have a second working vehicle for a daily driver.
December 14, 200520 yr Nice Brat! i`m looking for an old beater with little rust to do the same thing with.
