Also, anyone that knows the last year the passing light was available I would love to know.

this is what I could find... one with it open and on out playing in the snow, the other with it shut.. not the greatest quality either but its what I got at the moment. 81 gl wagon... I think they had it 80-81 and up till 82 for brats, but I have no idea

Nope, Qman got the years right. My '84 wagon's had the retrofit done (expertly, I might add) by a former board member. However, you need to swap the grille (and headlights for later-model GLs) or cut a hole in the mesh in your later-style grille for it to work.

1982's had them, at least the GL's did.

 

My 82 GL Hatch came with the cyclopse light.

 

I think 83 was when they took them out not 82.
